XMAS DISCO
This years Christmas Disco Is on Monday 13th December, it starts at 7pm & finishes at 10pm.
please attend as this will be full of festive fun, music, dancing & a BIG RAFFLE. Entry is £2.

Halloween

The halloween celebration last friday, was a great success and was enjoyed by the students & staff alike.
In the morning all partook in a game of Boccia, which was overseen by a gaggle of witches, the lead witch & scoremaster (Barbs) made sure foulplay was had by all. After which Ian ran a quiz (The HELLoween) which was won by The Pumpkins. In the afternoon the students dressed the staff up as mummies,


this was followed by a Halloween inspired disco. A great time was had by all.

In extra time Spain scored the only goal in the match.Making Spain the winners in this game, our sports reporter Mr K Barrington said this was a scrappy match which Spain deserved to win. Andres Iniesta scored the winning goal in the last few minutes of the game to knock out the dutch team.

Chums ,Michael Jackson Night

On Monday night (5/7/10) Chums, held a disco  with the theme of Michael Jackson..All the students who attended had a really good time, some of them turned up in fancy dress
 ( stephen wore his Elvis wig ) & the night  was deemed a success with the raffle prizes & the drinks

Ashford Daycentre fun day

Last Thursday 24th of  June the Ashford Daycentre had a fun day. There was a BBQ & Tombola. They also had a dance &  we met  up with an old friend Jason Baker. There was games & a fun day was had by all

Welcome to the new police community support officer

Today, Wednesday the30th of June the new police community  support officer Christian Ward-Davies introduced himself to the staff and students at Canterbury Day Centre.He visited the newsletter team and explained that his job was to patrol the local community and meet the people there. In the opinion of the newsletter team  "he seemed to be a nice chap"

Chief typist Shelley H, said David Beckham should be the manager, all the news team   agreed ,except Kenny B, who said it should be Ray Wikins &  Steven H who doesn't care

CRICKET DAY AT KENT COUNTY GROUND

We have been invited to a cricket disability day on the 2nd of July which is a Friday.

There will be various activites and a T20 cricket game being played in the afternoon .

There will also be the chance to have your photo taken with members of the England cricket team.

With the world cup under way everybody is behind england's attempt at glory .  With the coffee shop decorated with england flags and the new tv everybody hopes that our lads can do it.
